In addition to our core management portfolio, Aloka directly operates two flexible work concepts, one in Holland and one in the USA. In Holland we took on a set of aging 1934 Bata shoe factories and turned them into C'park Batadorp - 200,000 square feet of office, co-working and maker spaces, now home to more than a hundred working companies. In Massachusetts, we're doing it again. We take on industrial buildings that stopped working — too old, too odd, too big for one tenant — and put in the money and effort others won't.

The former Bata Industrials complex — seven buildings totalling roughly 250,000 square feet on the outskirts of Eindhoven.

Aloka (then called Heritage Properties) purchased the complex in 2016 and built a team of local partners who each shared the vision of a mixed-use development for light industrial, craftsman, artists, coworkers, and mixed-use office.

Today, C'park Batadorp has been rebuilt, modernized, and revitalized into a well-known and respected mixed-use community, having produced positive press and attracted more than 90 tenants. Most new tenants report a sense of community as one of their main reasons for choosing C'park.
