About Us

Aloka Properties is the real estate arm of SHOP Limited, the investment office of the Bata family. The family maintains a controlling interest in several internationally recognized organizations, including the Bata Shoe Organization. Aloka Properties has offices in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Bermuda, and Boston.

Our focus is on direct redevelopment, property management of our core portfolio, and strategic capital allocation. To date, we have completed and now manage over 700,000 square feet of office, retail, and residential redevelopments across 21 properties in Europe, primarily in Czechia and the Netherlands. Additionally, we have more than 600,000 square feet of industrial and multi-family redevelopment projects underway worldwide.

We oversee both development projects and stabilized properties in-house where we have local expertise, namely in the USA, Czechia, and the Netherlands. In other markets, we collaborate with trusted local developers. Given our global footprint, we place a strong emphasis on these partnerships, prioritizing transparency and alignment of interests to ensure long-term success.
